Learn More About Me:

Hope has been working in the social services field since 2002.  Hope graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Psychology in 2002 and pursued international work in Ghana, Africa providing outreach services for vulnerable populations.  After living abroad for several months, Hope returned to the area with an interest in providing services in the community that she was raised in, and has been providing services ever since.  Upon returning to the area, Hope pursued work with Children and Youth Services, and had a variety of positions throughout the years, starting out as a caseworker, educational liaison, and then supervisor of child protective services.  While working for Children and Youth Services, Hope was selected for the Child Welfare Excellence in Leadership program and was awarded student of the year in 2009 by the National Association of Social Workers.  Hope graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2009 from Edinboro University.  Hope’s career since getting her graduate degree has included work on an inpatient psychiatric unit, providing school based and family therapy, providing therapy in a medical setting, running therapy groups, and being the primary therapist for a specialized hoarding program within the community.  She has served as both an Assistant Director and Outpatient Director.  Hope has been trained in Parent-Child Interaction therapy and obtained national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Eventually, Hope helped to start a Children’s Partial Hospitalization Program.  In 2016, Hope began to pursue Individual work with adults in an outpatient setting and has loved it ever since!

While Hope loves providing therapy and it is her first passion, she has often served in leadership roles as she strives to work with others on improving their mental health while also advocating it within programs and on a community level.  Hope’s desire is to create a space for others to work through life’s challenges and help them to achieve the goals they set for themselves.  Hope believes that others know what is best for themselves and she strives to help them along their journey by using a relational, eclectic, and mind-body approach to therapy.

In her free time, Hope enjoys an active lifestyle with her family, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
